Ultimate Custom Content

The Ultimate Custom Content gadget is a means of letting the dashboard users know important details about the dashboard’s purpose, meaning of the gadgets or any form of simple textual notice needed.

Step #1 - Adding a gadget to the dashboard

Open

Start by filtering the gadget list on the word “Ultimate”…

and look for the Ultimate Filter Counts gadget, then click “Add”

Open

A new instance of the Ultimate Custom Content gadget should appear on the dashboard, much like this one.

Because this is a newly created gadget, the settings panel is displayed and ready for setting up

Step #2 - Configure the Gadget Title

Normally gadgets can be renamed on the dashboard via the “Rename” option in the gadget’s configuration menu (the ··· drop-down), however, in the case of the Ultimate Custom Content gadget, the title is actually something important to customize with each Ultimate Custom Content gadget added to the page.

Our fictional team has been focusing on how the average number of story points gives everyone an interesting metric to use in gauging issue complexity and understanding.

Let’s name this gadget instance: “Story Points Dashboard”

Step #3 - Add some content
